Equine Photographer and... Wedding Photographer?

The past month and a half has flown by! I had just a little bit of down time in August with it being so hot here in Texas. But oh how happy I am now that all the high temps are gone!
The first weekend in September has apparently set the pace for the entire month (self-inflicted, lol). Saturday the 3rd, I had a few hours of free time, so I decided to check out the Horseman's Association of Texoma show. I saw many different breeds including Miniature Horses, Arabians, Gypsy Vanners and of course, Quarter Horses.
After hanging out with them most of the day, I drove straight home to start getting ready for a small wedding I was photographing that evening in Lone Oak, TX.
This was literally the cutest backyard wedding! Todd & Kathy met because of their dogs. They both own German Shepherds, Indi & Sadie, so it was obvious they had to be a part of their big day. The four-legged pair served as their ring bearers! Todd is also an active endurance rider, so they had to include their horses in their wedding photos as well! I was so honored to capture their special day.
